In 2000, after the birth of her first child, she made a life-changing decision to start a catering company, driven by a desire to be present for her children and provide them with the best in clean eating and holistic wellness. Raising children in the midst of the organic craze, Lori instilled a profound advocacy for natural, wholesome nutrition. This passion for clean living led her to expand her business and take on a new role as a traveling, private chef. Catering to families across Hawaii, Colorado, and California, she was awarded the privilege of shadowing some of the most renowned chefs and industry experts, enriching her culinary expertise.

However, it was a chance encounter with a Canadian company offering a holistic wellness program to physicians that truly shaped her path towards the medical aesthetics industry. For a decade, she served as a clinical trainer with Ideal Protein, supporting over 55 doctors and clinics. Her extensive knowledge of metabolic wellness and her unwavering belief in the power of food as medicine culminated in the birth of Germantown Wellness, in 2012, and Nectar’s original namesake, Jewel Medspa in 2022.
